Event Details

Many of our conventional approaches in healthcare weren’t designed to fight today’s health challenges. And as the rising costs of obesity, chronic health conditions and an ageing population lead towards crisis point, traditional health solutions are increasingly redundant. Even without the added constraints of our public finances, finding radically new approaches to health is critical.

NESTA has been trialling a range of projects that demonstrate how working with the people in the Health Service – patients, families, friends and the staff themselves – can better confront the complexities of 21st century healthcare. On Wednesday 4th November, we will be joined by Andrew Lansley, Shadow Secretary of State for Health, and Tim Kelsey, Chairman of Dr Foster Intelligence, to launch a report that captures some of our learnings and to discuss the potential impact of such approaches in the long-term.

There will also be an opportunity to meet the pioneers behind some of these innovative approaches. Do join us for this important discussion.

Registration and refreshments from 9.30am with presentations to start promptly at 10.00am
